State President Truong Tan Sang and a delegation of National Assembly members met with voters and listened to their opinions in District 4 in Ho Chi Minh City on June 23.
Many issues such as social order and safety, task of social management, lending interest rates, foreign buyers defrauding and harassing local markets in the Mekong Delta region were discussed.
Voters also expressed concern on the State’s economic groups and general corporations who have caused huge losses of tens of thousands of billion dongs; shortage of teachers; weak health system; corruption and the quality of Chinese medicine clinics.
On the same day, Le Thanh Hai, secretary of the HCMC Party Committee led a delegation of National Assembly members to meet voters in District 5.
People demanded that the government be interested in adjusting the basic salary and improve traffic jams in the city's inner areas, among many other social problems.
State President Truong Tan Sang and Le Thanh Hai, secretary of the HCMC Party Committee, also met with intellectuals, religious dignitaries and members of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee on June 23.
The leaders praised and thanked voters for their views and contributions that reflected the reality of life in the city.
