The Department of Taxation in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday implemented a program to support startup enterprises.
With the aim to help these businesses which stop operation because of lacking information of tax, the tax sector opened six offices to provide guideline in the headquarter and sub-departments in district 1, 3, Tan Binh, Tan Phu and Binh Chanh.
In April, all startup businesses can reach information of tax from above-mentioned sub-departments. In addition, enterprises can seek information of policies to support startup business in the tax departments.
Especially, under the directive of the municipal People’s Committee TP to turn the city become a city with startup businesses, departments and agencies along with business associations should help startup firms with practical acts such as providing supporting services of tax, free-of-charge accounting software services.
For instance, startup business will be exempt from tax declaration service, initial tax paperwork, tax consultation, software for tax declaration, software for social insurance declaration, free-of-charge accounting software, and business management software.
All information of supporting startup enterprises will be launched on the Department of Taxation’s website.
