* The 2011 International Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament held in Tuan Chau – Ha Long ended on April 30th, 2011 with the first place going to Usa Tenpaksee and Jarunee from Thailand, the second place belonging to Kaneda and Murakami from Japan and the third place for Miller and Linine from the Republic of Vanuatu. Two Vietnam teams did not achieve high ranks in the tournament.
* Tran Lam Anh, a tennis player from HCMC, won the Thailand Open Women's Singles Champions closed in the afternoon of April 30th. Also, Lam Anh and Tran Tam Hao settled for the runners-up spot in the final in the women’s doubles title and Do Minh Quan ended the tournament with second rank in the men’s singles title.
