The Housing and Real Estate Market Management Agency under the Ministry of Construction has reported that real estate inventory dropped over 46 percent in April.

As of April 20, the total inventory level was valued at VND68,782 billion (US$3.17 billion), down VND59,766 billion or 46.49 percent from a month ago.
The inventory included 13,671 apartments worth VND20,885 billion, 9,426 houses worth VND16,347 and 8,389,000 square meters of housing land worth over VND27 trillion.
The number of successful transactions reached 1,600 in Hanoi and 1,500 in Ho Chi Minh City in April, up 10 percent and 15 percent over March respectively. They comprised 70-90 square meter apartments, housing land and small houses.
