The National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center has said that medium to heavy rainfall will be widespread across the country for the next few days.

The northern region remains cloudy with occasional showers. The Gulf of Tonkin is rough with strong winds and the central region is seeing widespread torrential rainfall.
Within the next few days, mid parts of the East Sea and the coastal central provinces will face heavy rainfall. Water levels on rivers from Nghe An to Thua Thien-Hue Provinces are surging.
Southwesterly winds have strengthened in the southern region and will result in heavy rainfall in the mainland and on sea today and tomorrow, September 7. Rain will abate slightly by tomorrow afternoon.
