Pop star Dan Truong has been selected as Holland’s tourism ambassador to Viet Nam, said Mr. Antonius L.M. van Zeeland, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in HCMC.

The singer will take a month-long visit to the Netherlands’ Amesterdam, Rotterdam and Den Hagg in the beginning of September to take part in a documentary themed “Dan Truong in Holland,” in which he will introduce the land, people, and culture of Holland to the Vietnamese.
“Dan Truong is one of Viet Nam’s most famous singers with a large number of fans nationwide. His name will have great influence in promoting Holland’s tourism in Viet Nam,” said the Consul General.
The documentary will be presented to the public for the occasion of “Dutch Cultural Week” in Viet Nam to take place from October 19 to 23.
The event will make the Netherlands better known amongst the Vietnamese people. Different activities will give a complete view of the Netherlands. During the cultural week, economic, cultural and educational activities will take place in HCMC.
