The price cut was made in accordance with requirements by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
Diesel price increased VND122 to VND12,957 a liter, kerosene went up VND285 to VND11,665 a liter and mazut oil hiked VND110 to VND10,776 a kilogram.
Businesses’ contribution level to the price subsidization fund remains unchanged.
According to the two ministries, the world petrol price reduced from US$0.14- $2.16 a barrel during the last 15 days.
