Plenty more prizes in Viet Nam’s biggest annual fashion design competition were handed out at Quan Ngua Stadium in Ha Noi.
Too mention just a few, Le Nguyen Van Khoa picked up the award for best material, Vu Khac Tung for best color, Ngo Thi Trang for best idea and Tran Nhu Vy for best layout.
More importantly, Tran Cao Anh Tuan was named “Fashion Designer of the Year” and Nguyen Thi Khanh Vy took home the “Promising Fashion Designer” award.
Twenty five of the 1,104 designers who had entered the contest introduced their collections to an appreciative audience and an international judging panel that included Francine Pairon, creative director of the French Fashion Institute, Karen Videtic from Virginia, USA, Japanese designer Koshino Junko and China’s Ji Wenbo.
“Space” was the theme of the ninth Viet Nam Collection Grand Prix organized by the Viet Nam National Textile and Garment Corporation, the Fashion Design Institute (Fadin) and the magazine Mot (mode).
