The pageant is open for contestants in 20 Southern cities and provinces, including Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, An Giang, Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, Hau Giang, Can Tho and others.
The jury will whittle contestants down to 30 for the final rounds which will be held in Can Tho City on July 22. . The final will include competitions, evening gown, swimsuit and Ao dai (traditional long dress).
