Specifically, the rental prices of land for commercial businesses including commercial zones, hotels, restaurants, houses for experts, offices and high-tech services range from VND36,743 ($1.58 ) per square meter a year to VND134,640 per square meter a year.
The land rent for building supermarkets, shops, petrol stations, bus stations, logistics establishments, tax suspension zones is from VND36,743 per square meter a year to VND91,080 per square meter a year.
Rental prices of non-agricultural and production land is from VND21,383 per square meter a year to VND 62,100 per square meter a year while rental prices of public land for commercial activities is from VND21,383 per square meter a year to VND62,100 per square meter a year.
According to the Land Law, the government sets a new price frame for public lands every five years. The public land rental price in HCM City, including land in SHTP, expired in April last year.
The new land rental prices will be applied for these land plots leased from April 9, 2018 to December 31, 2019.
