Both sides mentioned in good trade cooperation programs and activities between Vietnam and Germany in recent years. Of which, foreign trade sector of Hessen contributed a lot to the development.
Vietnam raw materials exported to Hessen at over EUR 135 million per year while goods import from Hessen market reached about EUR 37 million a year.
Especially, the two sides expressed their pleasure at establishment and development of Vietnamese-German University during the past 11 years.
The city Party chief hoped that the Chairman of the Parliament of the State and the Minister of Science and Art of Hesse would continue to create conditions in promoting the deep relationship for the educational sector of Ho Chi Minh City as well as share experiences of the financial center development.
On these foundations, he also mentioned in vocational training cooperation, especially dual training model.
With this proposal, the Minister of Science and Art of Hessen expressed his impression on the initiatives of the HCMC Party Committee Secretary, who is an educational strategist and a close friend of Hessen.
Chairman Boris Rhein also supported the dual training programs, which were proposed by Ho Chi Minh City's authorities.
