At the meeting, the city party chief Nguyen Thien Nhan extended his warm greetings to the Iranian top legislator on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties.
Mr. Nhan highlighted cooperation proposal on boosting bilateral trade by Speaker of the Parliament of Iran.
For his part, Mr. Ali Ardeshir Larijani called for Vietnamese investors to invest in the fields of petroleum, petrochemicals, liquid petroleum gas and agriculture, sea transport, port construction in his country.
He hoped that Vietnam will share agricultural experience with Iran and learn about wood product export to Iranian market.
The Speaker proposed the two countries to cooperate closely in the area of banking and create favorable conditions for businesses of the two sides to increase bilateral trade turnover in the upcoming time.
