'Green bread' charitable program launched in Soc Trang

The charitable program "Green bread", in which breads are wrapped with banana leaves in an effort to reduce plastic waste, has been launched to deliver free breads to disadvantaged people, patients and children in the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang.

The program carried out by members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the province provide the poor with 100 crunchy baguette-like breads with pork every morning.
It is firstly organized in My Xuyen town and Soc Trang city with the support of sponsors.
