Around 25 Francophone chefs and pastry chefs from around the world (Photo) will gather in the third meeting of the Village de Chefs which will be scheduled in Ha Noi in early November for four days with the aim to share culinary professionals with students, the community and the press.

According to Chef Didier Corlou, co-founder and current president of Village de Chefs who has lived in Viet Nam for over 26 years, the highlight of the event will be a gala dinner at the Embassy of France in Hanoi on November 10.
Chefs from the US, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Netherland and among will give a special cooking performance, presenting creations made using local and French ingredients.
Students of Hoa Sua Toursim School in Hanoi will join the event and help the chefs prepare their dishes for the gala dinner as well as learn from their culinary passion skills. The most excellent student will be chosen to take part in the next meeting of the Village de Chefs that to be held in Benelux in 2017. The cost of the gala dinner is $35 per person.There will be 250 entry tickets to go on sale. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Hoa Sua Tourism School.
During the convergence in Ha Noi, the chefs will also conduct cooking classes at hotels in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Founded in 2005, the French culinary association Village de Chef is a non-profit association regrouping French-speaking culinary and pastry chefs around the world. The association sets an objective for its members to share their culinary experiences from the land where they live and work, present creations made using local ingredients from the region or country they come from. This can include culture, new products, unique ingredients and rare spices.
