535 tourism businesses from 24 countries and territories will join in the Vietnam International Travel Mart - VITM Hanoi, announced Vietnam Tourism Association at a press conference in Hanoi on February 22.

The event is considered as a biggest travel fair of the country. The 2016 Vietnam International Travel Mart under the theme "Vietnam - The paradise of sea and island tourism" is scheduled to take place in Hanoi on April 14- 17.
In addition, the travel fair also focuses on tourism development of the Northwest region. That is the reason why there are 14 northwest provinces joining in the VITM Hanoi.
During three day tourism event, the organizers will apply a preferential ticket program with selling 20, 000 tickets and 11, 000 tours.
VITM was launched for the first time in 2013 and then became the annual national tourism promotion activity.
