Foreign Ministry signs agreement to support EU investors

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam yesterday signed a cooperation agreement to support European investors in Vietnam as well as raise Vietnam export into Europe markets.

At the signing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Le Hoai Trung said that Vietnam is going to complete seven negotiations to sign 15 further trade agreements with 57 partners, including 11 strategic partners that would widen the door for more Vietnamese goods and lure of foreign investment capital.
 
Recently, the ministry urged its local departments to collaborate closely with local committeess to solve barrier of legal, create favorable conditions for not only foreign investors in Vietnam but also Vietnamese businessmen to export products into foreign markets.
 
Mr. Bruno Angelet, Head of European Union in Vietnam said that Vietnam has been ranked the 13th position in the list of Asian potential strategic markets, adding that approximately 1, 600 projects worth at US$ 1.9 billion have been performed in Vietnam by 800 European enterprises.
