The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has instructed relevant departments to strictly monitor import of luxury goods like wine, cosmetics, cell phones and small cars to subvert fake and contraband goods from entering the country.
The Customs Department and border armed forces have been asked to remain alert at border gates to prevent illegal contraband goods from entering into Vietnam.
The Department of Industry and Trade has been asked to closely work with market management forces to monitor commercial centers and businesses that import products like wine, cosmetics, cell phones and small cars.
