The Binh Dien Wholesale Market Management and Trading Company recently asked for approval from the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to organize a flower market at their location during Tet Lunar New Year.
The Binh Dien Market plans to put up 116 flower booths over a 36 square meter area per booth. The flower marketing area will be divided into three main parts, which will include catering services, souvenirs, and farm produce, while two divisions will be for display of flowers, decorative plants and bonsai.
The organizers will not charge any booth rental fee from flower growers.
Once the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City gives the nod to the company proposal, Binh Dien Wholesale Market will hold its first Tet flower market to cater to a massive demand for the Tet festive season.
