The night gala of the 21st Golden Ball Awards was organized by Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper at the Municipal Theatre of Ho Chi Minh City yesterday evening.
The honored guests in the gala were Deputy Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thu, Director of HCMC Department of Culture and Sport Nguyen Nhu Khue, Director of the General Department of Sports Vuong Bich Thang, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) vice chairmen Nguyen Xuan Gu and Tran Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the Vietnam Professional Football (VPF) Vo Quoc Thang.
Attending in the night gala were Editor in chief of Sai Gon Giai Phong (SGGP) Newspaper Nguyen Tan Phong, Deputy Editors in chief of SGGP Newspaper Nguyen Thanh Loi, Ly Viet Trung and Le Tien Tuyen as the organizational board.
According to final result, Nguyen Anh Duc of Becamex Binh Duong Club and Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet of Hanoi Club were the winners of the 2015 Vietnamese Golden Ball awards.
Strikers Nguyen Van Quyet (Hanoi T&T Club) and Le Cong Vinh (Becamex Binh Duong Club) won the Men’s Silver and Bronze Ball Awards respectively.

Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet (C) owned the title of the Women’s Golden Ball 2015.
Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung (Ha Nam Club) and Huynh Nhu (HCMC Club) owned title of the Women’s Silver and Bronze Ball Awards respectively.
‘The best young male' and 'The best female football player’ awards went to Nguyen Cong Phuong (Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club) and Chuong Thi Kieu (HCMC Club).
Abass Cheikh Dieng from Becamex Binh Duong Club was the winner of ‘The best foreign football player’ awards. This is the second time Abass was honored the title.
Tran Van Vu from Thai Son Nam Club won the title of ‘The best futsal player’ awards.
Vietnamese Golden Ball Awards is organized annually by Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper since 1995, aiming to honor great achievements of football players during a year.
