Since the beginning of this year, export turnover of agro-aquatic products reached roughly US$34 billion, an increase of 1.6 percent over the same period last year. Vietnamese agricultural exports declined at Chinese market but increased heavily at choosy market such as the US, the EU, Japan and South Korea.
Mr. Andreas Krey, general director of Germany’s Thuringia State Development Office, emphasized that German consumers in particular and global consumers in general are increasingly fond of Vietnamese products thanks to improving quality. Vietnamese enterprises only need to meet technical barriers about food safety, quality and packing then the opportunity to enter deeply into global market will be extremely great.
