As planned, the festivals including “the Southern Cuisine”; “the Southern fruit”; “the fashion & technology” will be held in the city.
“The 2017 Southern Cuisine festival” will take place from May 24 to 28 at Dam Sen Cultural Park, District 11 while “the Southern fruit festival” will be launched on June 1 at Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Area, District 9. It will run during a 3 month summer.
The first fashion & technology festival is expected to take place in October at the walking street, district 1. Over 100 fashion booths in the country and international organizations will participate and introduce the latest collections at the event.
Mr. Vinh Tuyen said the city’s tourism industry should plan to popularize the above-mentioned events to attract more domestic and international tourists to the city.
“Tourism industry needs corporate with 24 districts citywide to seek artisans or the delicious home cook dishes to take part in the cuisine festival and introduce street food to visitors", Mr. Tuyen added.
