A selection of 13 films from 5 countries, such as “How Does A Rainbow Happen”, “House of Little Scientists: Bubbles”, “Bright Night – How light pollutes the environment”, and “The Light Elephant” and more which was made to encourage scientific awareness in young people in both urban and rural areas will be screened in Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, Da Nang, Quang Nam-Hoi An, Dak Lak and Ho Chi Minh City.

The eleventh edition of the festival is once again an opportunity for children and adolescents to experience science at first hand. This year, it’s all about the topic of light: What exactly are laser beams and how can they be used? Why do rainbows happen? And how can fireflies glow in the dark? The Festival is participating in the “International Year of Light 2015”, which was launched by the UN to explore the importance of light and light-based technologies on humanity and planet Earth
