The country released a list of 30 sports that the competition is no longer able to host such as women’s football, Vovinam, wrestling, karatedo, chess, weighlifting, women’s pendcak silat, futsal.

The Vietnam Sports Delegation will lose many medals if women’s football was cut from the competition, said General Secretary of Vietnam Football Federation Ngo Le Bang.

Because futsal has not developed in Singapore, it is not surprising that it was eliminated from participating in the event, said Chairman of Hanoi Football Federation Tran Anh Tu.
