The Prime Minister approved the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs’ submission on gifts for those who have served in the country’s revolutionary to observe War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27.
As per the Minister’s proposal, VND400 billion (US$19 million) will be allocated for gifts for these people.
Each gifts will be worth VND200,000 or VND400,000. According to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, VND400,000 gifts are for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, relatives of martyrs , wounded and sick soldiers, or those who was infected with chemicals accordingly it incapacitated them from working. All people are receiving monthly allowance from state budget.
VND200,000 gifts are for less wounded and sick soldiers who are also receiving monthly allowance from the state budget, martyrs’ parents, wives, husbands or children, those having raised martyrs, those are worshiping martyrs or those participated in the revolutionary and were infected by chemicals accordingly their working capability reduced slightly.
