Vietnam’s benchmark VN-Index slightly rose on March 26 after a sharp correction made the previous day.
The index of 215 companies and four mutual funds listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange gained 0.37 percent, or 1.91 points, to finish at 505.3. Around 62.98 million shares, worth VND2.49 trillion changed hands.
Among the index members, 91 advanced, 83 fell, and 45 remained unchanged.
The smaller bourse in the north also rallied as the Hanoi’s HNX-Index gained 0.05 percent, or 0.08 points, to close at 163.76. More than 24 million shares traded at VND811.69 billion.
The UPCoM-Index rose 0.02 points to 44.04. A total of 167,162 shares, worth more than VND2.27 billion, were changed hands.
