HCM CITY (VNS) — The works of Vietnamese women artists are being displayed at a biennial exhibition organised by the International Women Artist's Council (INWAC) in the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar.
From July 21 to 27 at the Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery, Her Presence in Colours features sculptures, graphics, and oil on canvas, silk, lacquer, ink, water colour, wooden, aluminum, and silk works by 124 artists from 20 countries.
Centred on the theme of love, the works reveal the artists' take on love, inner soul, art, and the life of artists in different countries and cultures.
All 11 Vietnamese artists are members of Viet Nam Fine Arts Association, HCM City Fine Arts Association and the INWAC Viet Nam.
Dang Thi Duong, chairwoman of INWAC Viet Nam, will speak at a seminar titled "The expression of love in women's art" on the sidelines of the exhibition.
The event has been held in INWAC member countries including Australia, France, the US, South Korea, China, Malaysia, and Viet Nam.
The previous exhibition was two years ago in HCM City.
