A film week featuring Vietnamese movies will be held in cinemas by the CJ CGV Cinemas Vietnam nationwide from May 20-31.
Audiences will have a chance to enjoy films such as Diep vu chan dai (Long-legged Agent), Vong Eo 56 (56cm Waist), Gai Gia Lam Chieu (The Last Egg), Bao Gio Co Yeu Nhau (When We Fall in Love) Lat Mat (Face-Off), Taxi ! What Your Name?, Nu dai gia (Rich woman); and receive a cheap ticket of VND50,000.
The event will also include exchanges between filmmakers and audiences in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on May 21-22.
The event aims to promote Vietnamese movies and encourage filmmakers to release more cinematic works, said Dong-Won Kwak, CEO of CGV Vietnam.
