The film Mekong Stories (Big Father, Small Father & Other Stories) by director Phan Dang Di will be screened in cinemas in France starting on April 20.
The film’s distributor, Memento Films Production has annouced the screening schedule to the public at cinmeas, Gaumont Pathé, UGC, MK2.
Director Phan Dang Di, producer and actress Hai Yen will travel to France for the film debut.
The film was also nominated for best film at the 2015 Berlin International Film Festival. It won the Young Jury’s Award for the Best Film at the annual Film Festival of the Three Continents which has been held in Nantes (France) since 1979, and is devoted to the cinemas of Asia, Africa and Latin America.
