Vietnam wins two more SEA Games gymnastics gold medals

Vietnam's artistic gymnasts yesterday grabbed in the medal tally with two more gold, one silver and two bronze medals in the women’s vault, the men’s rings, the men’s floor exercise and men’s pommel horse finals.

Phan Thi Ha Thanh on Tuesday snatched a gold medal with a score of 13. 983 point in the women’s vault category. The silver medal went to Malaysian competitor Tan IngYueh with a score of 13. 466 point; and the bronze medal belonged to Abdul Hadi Farah Ann.

Up to now, Phan Thi Ha Thanh has collected two individual gold medals. Unlucky, Ha Thanh and Thu Huyen did not perform successfully in the women’s uneven bar whereby they was ranked sixth position and eighth position.

Meanwhile, Dang Nam excellently won a gold medal with a score of 15, 300 point in men’s rings. His teammate Pham Phuoc Hung was the second winner with 14. 033 point in men’s rings. Moreover, Phuoc Hung also brought a bronze medal with 14. 500 point in men’s floor exercise. Le Thanh Tung won a bronze medal in men’s pommel horse.
