Vietnam- Japan Culture Exchange Festival 2016 opens in Tra Vinh

The first Vietnam- Japan Culture Exchange Festival was opened in Tra Vinh province on November 17, attracting over 2, 000 participants.

Many activities were launched during the festival such as performances of folk and traditional instruments, the Japanese tea ceremony, traditional clothes of the Vietnamese southwest region’s ethnic people, the Japanese traditional Kimono, cuisine and dancing, wedding of Khmer ethnic people, flower and paper arrangement competition...

Vietnamese and Japanese artisians introduced handicraft products and photos highlighting the two countries’ culture. 

The festival is favorable chance to tighten the traditional friendship and cooperation relations between Vietnam and Japan.
