The organizers of ‘Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest 2013’ selected 100 photos from 6,016 entries to exhibit in Hoi An ancient town, museum of Cham Sculpture in Da Nang, and later in Dong Nai, An Giang, Hue and Quang Binh Provinces on November 22.
This year, the organizers also selected 27 of the most beautiful photos to award with ‘Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards’.
Accordingly, the photo ‘Sea and Humans’ by photographer Nguyen Xuan Huu Tam won the first prize in the single photo category.
In the album photo category, the first prize went to the photo
‘Traditional Firecracker Festival in Dong Ky Village’ by photographer Hoang The Nhiem.
On the same day, Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association in collaboration with the War Remnants Museum in HCMC and Sy Hoang Company opened an exhibition themed ‘Ao Dai-Vietnamese Traditional Dress’. The exhibition introduced 30 items, 90 photos and 16 stories, with the aim to honor the cultural values of Vietnam.
