Vietnam Cinema Day in Hanoi

Vietnamese documentary films will be screened to celebrate Vietnam Cinema Day (March 15) in Hanoi from March 8 - 10.

Films will be screened at the National Documentary and Scientific Film Production Studio, 465 Hoang Hoa Tham Street.

They include Loi ru thi buon (Lullaby is sad), Rung Ca Mau ke chuyen (Ca Mau forest tells a story), Chuyen cua Nha (Nha’s story), Co do (Ancient capital), Buom-con trung canh vay (Butterfly-lepidopteran insect), Mieng song (A living) and Mot mai, mai mot tieng Tuong (Vietnamese classical opera to fall into oblivion).

Crew members of the documentaries will exchange views and thoughts with the audience during the event.

The event is being jointly organized by the National Documentary and Scientific Film Production Studio and the Vietnam Cinematography Association. 

It will also prepare for the Canh Dieu Vang (Golden Kite) national film award 2011 to take place at Hoa Binh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City on March 13.
