The Vietnamese government decided to reduce the unemployment insurance payment from 1 percent to 0.5 percent of laborers’ wage.
The decision aims to ease the financial burden on businesses, help them further develop trade and production.
The adjustment will start when the decision will take effect on December 31, 2019. The government asked the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with the Ministry of Justice, and the government office to complete the decision.
