U23 Vietnam lost 1 – 2 against Malaysia in group A of the men’s football match at the 27th SEA Games at Zeyar Thiri football stadium on the afternoon of December 17.
With the unsuccessful result, Vietnamese men’s football team had not opportunity to attend in the semi-finals.
In the football match, although U23 Vietnam team controlled ball well and played more active than Malaysia, Vietnamese football players still had not a lucky opportunity to goal.
U23 Vietnam also created three assault times from shoots of Van Thang, Manh Hung and Van Quyet, but all shoots can not create goals for Malaysia.
The result means U23 Malaysia sit at the top of Group A with eight points and will attend in the semi-finals.
In the related new, Vietnamese women football team will meet Malaysia on 4:30pm on December 18.
According to predictions, Vietnamese women football team has many opportunities to beat Malaysia and attend in final round. Currently, Vietnam sits top of group A.
