Tropical low pressure moving towards west north-west

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center warned that ongoing tropical low pressure was centered at 500 kilometers of southeastward of Paracel Island  with its strong wind of level 5- 8 yesterday evening.

Within next 24 hours, the low pressure system mainly move toward west northwest at 10 kilometers an hour, and after that it is forecasted to be stronger operation.

It will be located at 300 kilometers of the southward of Paracel Island with its strongest wind of level 6- 9 tonight.

Because of the influence of low pressure circulation, the area of  the center of East Sea will appear sea rough, level 6- 7 wind, even gust up to level 8- 9.

The low pressure accompanying with the strong operation of west southern monsoon caused appearance of uninterrupted  showery weather, thunderstorms, 2- 3 meters big waves and southwest wind of level 5- 8 in the southern territorial waters of East Sea and the center of East Sea from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau and Spratly Island.

The National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue sent emergency messages to local authorities from Ha Tinh to Kien Giang provinces to require vessels moving safer places.
