Toll collection on Rach Chiec Bridge to begin in June

The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has permitted the HCMC Infrastructure Investment Company to operate the toll station on the new Rach Chiec Bridge on Hanoi Highway from June 1.

Toll fees will vary from VND4,000-80,000 per trip, depending on type of vehicle.

The new Rach Chiec Bridge was built on Hanoi Highway at a cost of VND1.01 trillion (US$48.30 million), with an expected life span of 100 years. The bridge has different traffic lanes, and is 295m in length and 48m in width.
