Statistics of the organization board show that more than 1,000 contestants from nearly 200 universities, colleges, high schools, and secondary highs in Vietnam have registered for the selection round.
At last, 66 competitors won individual prizes and three won the championship to become the representatives of Vietnam to enter the final round in Orlando City of Florida State in the USA from July 29, 2018 to August 2, 2018.
The three champions are Doan Duc Thanh, student of Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifts (in Nam Dinh Province), excelling at Microsoft Word 2013; Nguyen Ba Trong Dai from Phan Huy Chu High School (in Hanoi), excelling at Microsoft PowerPoint 2013; and Dao Ngoc Anh Thu, student of the Ho Chi Minh City Banking University.
After 8 years taking part in the final round of the contest, Vietnam gained 6 gold medals and is in the list of top-10 strongest teams.
