Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.5 presented at HCMC Opera House

A special concert titled “Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.5” featuring artists of the South Korea’s Goyang Philharmonic will take place at Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on December 9.

They are flutist Ban Jin A, violinist Tran Huu Quoc and conductor An Hyun Sung who will perform Giuseppe Verdi’s Overture from the opera “La forza del destino”, Carl Reinecke’s Flute Concerto in D Major Op.283, Henry Vieuxtemps’Fantasia appassionata, Op. 35 in the part 1.

The last part will present to music lovers and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.5.

Symphony No. 5 and Symphony No. 6 are ranked among the most popular compositions of Tchaikovsky, who is well known not only as one of the most famous composers  of Russia, but also as one of the most prominent author in the worldwide music scene. Featuring beautiful melody, impressive harmony, Tchaikovsky’s music enchanted the audience through the generations and continues to be performed in any theater.
