Talented, Vietnamese Violinist Gives Concert in HCMC

Talented, young violinist Nguyen Huu Nguyen, will perform masterpieces by famous composers including Mozart, Brahms, Bloch and Wieniawski.  The concert will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music tonight at 8 p.m

Talented, young violinist Nguyen Huu Nguyen, will perform masterpieces by famous composers including Mozart, Brahms, Bloch and Wieniawski.  The concert will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music tonight at 8 p.m.

Joining the show are teachers of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, such as clarinetist, Nguyen Tuan Loc; cellist, Vu Thanh Hao; pianist, Ly Giai Hoa, and violinists, Le Minh Hien, Le Tri Toan and Bui Anh Son.

Violinist, Nguyen Huu Nguyen, currently plays with the French National Orchestra and is also a member of two French string-instrument quartets: Darius and Impresa.

He has performed in European countries and won international prizes, such as the first prize of Group B in Hanoi’s National Autumn Music Contest in 1990; golden medal of Boulogne Billancourt Conservatory in France in 1996, and several prizes of chamber music contests in Paris in 1999, 2000, 2001. 

The concert was organized by the HCMC Conservatory of Music and the French Consulate Generals Office in HCMC and will be a wonderful and entertaining event.
