The Summer Gala Concert 2011, featuring local artists who have won many national and international awards, will take place at the Hanoi Opera House on June 15.
The participating piano soloists are Nguyen The Vinh, Do Hoang Linh Hoang and Pham Tra Mi; the sopranos are Duyen Huyen, Phuc Tiep, Quoc Hung, Nguyen Vu and the Phao Hoa Percussion Ensemble.
The concert will present masterpieces of famous composers like Mozart, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Schumann and other greats.
The works include Impromptu No. 1 Op. 29 in A flat major, Hungarian Rhapsody No. 11 in A moll, La Campanella, Prelude No. 2, Op. 23, Piano Quintet in Eb major, op.44, Aria extract from Opera “The Magic Flute”, Aria ‘the Angels’ by Mozart, songs ‘Sarrastro’ ‘Papageno và Papagena’ and ‘Monostatos’ and the Motion trio Liberty tango- The Heart and Marta Istvan’s Doll’s house story.

The Vietnam National Academy of Music is organizing the concert.
