Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with General Department of Sports and Physical Training celebrated the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27th, 1946- 2016) in Hanoi on March 27.

Speaking at the celebration ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Chairman of Vietnam Olympic Committee Hoang Tuan Anh said that more and more people practice physical exercises with an estimate of 28, 3 percent yearly.
On behalf of State, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission on Mass Mobilization Truong Thi Mai presented the first class Independent Order above flag being granted by State to the Sports and Physical Training Administration.
Attending in the event were head of the Central Commission for Propaganda and Education Vo Van Thuong, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and senior leaders of Party and State.
The cultural and sport week also closed in Hanoi yesterday after five-day of organizing activities to mark the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day.
