The International Men’s Volleyball Tournament 2010, Hoa Lu-Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper Cup, will take place February 1-7 at the Ninh Binh Province Indoor Stadium.
The tournament will see the participation of five teams including Trang An Ninh Binh, The Cong, Sao Vang Bien Phong, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, and the Lao National Team.
At a press conference in Hanoi January 29, the organization board announced that prizes at the tournament will range from US$500-4,000.
The opening ceremony, on February 2, will be televised on Vietnam Television along with live broadcasts of all matches.
Sai Gon Giai Phong Editor-in-Chief Tran The Tuyen, head of the tournament organizating committee, said he appreciated the board members’ efforts to ensure the competition proceeds on schedule.
The tournament is sponsored by the PetrolVietnam Gas Corporation.
