Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union held a ‘Happy Family Festival’ themed – ‘Woman Builds Stable and Happy Family’ on June 23, to mark Vietnam Family Day (June 28).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, vice-secretary of the HCMC Party Committee, leaders of districts and departments and more than 200 selected families took part in the event.
The families participated in music and fashion performances, a cooking competition and an exchange with normal happy families.
On the occasion, the HCMC Women's Union offered certificates of merit to honor management boards of 24 ‘Build Happy Family’ clubs and 60 normal happy families.
