Seven literary works winning the 2015 Vietnam Literature Association Awards were honored at the award ceremony at Literature Museum of Vietnam in Hanoi on February 2.
Ky Nhan Lang Ngoc (People in Ngoc Village), a short story by Tran Thanh Canh and Thong Reo Ngan Hong (Pine Leaves Rustle), a historical novel received the award of the Vietnam Literature Association in the prose category.
Epic Long mach (Good Layer of Earth) by Hoang Tran Cuong and collection of poems Vuon khuya (Garden at Night) by Tran Hung won the sector of verse awards.
Critical literary award belonged to copies of Nguyen Van Dan and Le Ho Quang.
A translation of Nguyen Minh Chau for novel “Nguoi dan ong den tu Bac Kinh" (The man come from Beijing) by Henning Mankell earned the award of the category of translated writers’ work.
On the occasion, Vietnam Literature Association also granted the fourth Novel Writing Contest for 10 best entries.
