A ceremony was hosted on May 4 to celebrate the 38th founding anniversary of Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper that published its first edition on May 5, 1975.
The ceremony that was held at the headquarters of the newspaper in District 5 in Ho Chi Minh City was attended by former leaders and staff of the Newspaper, some of who have worked for the newspaper for decades.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Phong, Editor-in-Chief of SGGP, expressed his gratitude to those who have contributed towards the establishment and development of the Newspaper for the last 38 years.
According to him, besides assisting the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the newspaper is making great efforts to overcome difficulties while developing steadily and steadfastly in the three pillars of content, economics, and social activities. Of these, propaganda is among the top political priorities.
