An art festival with the participation of five ASEAN countries will take place in the central province of Quang Tri from July 18-25.
The event attracts 21 art group++s with 960 artists , including 17 Vietnamese troupes and 4 foreign troupes from ASEAN countries, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand.
221 art performances will introduce the people, cultures, national characteristics and achievements gained in the past and at present of countries, as well as praise the friendly relations and solidarity among the ASEAN members.
The festival is an opportunity for artists to meet and exchange on arts and strengthen the relationship among nations in ASEAN.
The event is co-organized by the Department of Performing Arts, the provincial Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the International Cooperation Department, the Viet Nam Dancers' Association and the Vietnam Musicians Association.
