Construction for the Vo Van Kiet Route in the Binh Hoa Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai Province began on February 10.
The route will be nine kilometers long with total estimated cost of VND 440 billion, including over VND 252 billion for construction costs alone. The overseer of the project is the management board of the Dung Quat Economic Zone.
The Vo Van Kiet route is designed in accordance to international standards with six lanes and five meters of pavement.
The route will connect 1A Highway with Dung Quat Port and Chu Lai Airport in Quang Nam. It will be the major route through the zone.
The project aims to attract foreign investment into the province.
The project is expected to be finished by the end of 2015.
