Pham Thuy Trang, 21, from the northern province of Hoa Binh was crowned Miss Sea Vietnam 2016 which ended in Quang Ninh Province’s Ha Long City on May 21.
The first and second runners-up went to Nguyen Thi Bao Nhu from Ho Chi Minh City and Nguyen Dinh Khanh Phuong from Khanh Hoa province.
The jury also awarded minor titles, including Miss Swimsuit, Miss Ao Dai, Miss Hospitality, Miss Talent, Miss Friendly, Miss Photo, and Miss Evening Gown.
Launched in March, the beauty pageant themed “Spreading Vietnamese Beauty” attracted more than 100 contestants nationwide.
36 other selected by jury board entered the final round. They participated in charitable events and social activities to improve the environment and promote Vietnam’s sea culture and tourism industry during their stay in Ha Long.
The beauty contest aims to honor Vietnamese beauty and natural landscaped of Ha Long.
