In Hong Bang school in district 5, a delegation led by Deputy Education Minister Nguyen Van Phuc checked the security before the test. He asked the municipal Department of Education and Training to tighten control over exam and make report after each session.
Candidates sat the national exam in 3,294 rooms in 124 locations; therefore, it should be good preparation and good cooperation between units. Additionally, traffic jam is usually seen in crowded city like HCMC; relevant agencies must work hard to ensure test questions and support candidates to be in location in time, said Deputy Minister Phuc.
Over 50 students of Senior High School in district 12 were accompanied by seven teachers who wished them to do test well.
Most students came early in Vo Truong Toan School in district 12 – one of locations of the year exam.
Ms. Le Thi Xuan Dung, who is responsible for the exam in Vo Truong Toan School, said that 736 students registered to participate in the exam. One of them was a vision-impaired student who enjoyed privilege to go straight from school to Pedagogy University.
In addition, one candidate with slight vision-impairment sat in special room to do test. Two supervisors of the room will read the test to the candidate who was privileged to have overhead projector and magnifier while the room was equipped with tape-recorder and camera.
