Many sophisticated pieces of art made from flowers and beautiful bonsais from 500 booths were displayed at the Ornamental Creature Festival 2010 in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap.
The festival, which was held at Cao Lanh City from December 1st to 5th, is a part of the anniversary of 30 years of Dong Thap Muoi (Plain of Reeds) with the theme named “Where the cranes return”. At the opening day, attendees enjoyed many art performances showcasing 30 year development of Dong Thap Muoi.
Among main event of the anniversary is also the launching ceremony of the conservation project at the tomb of Sir Nguyen Sinh Sac, father of late President Ho Chi Minh, held in Cao Lanh City on December 2.
